Win Number Two Of ’21 Season For Brett Kressley Saturday Night At Grandview Speedway

Story By: GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY – BECHTELSVILLE, PA – Brett Kressley was able to hold off strong challenges from Jared Umbenhauer to win the 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature on Saturday night for the second week in a row.

Dylan Hoch managed to keep his smoking mount in front of the field to win the 25 lap 602 Sportsman feature.

Glenn “The Professor” Strunk returned after missing from action for quite awhile and was able to win the 25-lap T.P.Truck Equipment Sportsman feature topping a 24-car field.

In the closing laps of the Modified main Kressley was able to hold on to the top spot, winning the 28-car feature and hold on to the point lead for the Modifieds as the NASCAR Advance Auto Parks Weekly Series continues.

Umbenhauer took second in an impressive effort followed by young Dillon Steuer, Duane Howard and Justin Grim.

Despite a smoking engine that gave out on the final lap Dylan Hoch was able to hold on to the top spot and win the 25 lap 602 Sportsman feature which was the first of at least four features planned during the season for the 602 division. Second place was earned by Kenny Bock followed by Kenny Gilmore, Jimmy Leiby and Dakota Kohler rounding out the top five. 26 cars started the main event.

Strunk, younger brother of Jeff Strunk, was able to hold off second place finisher Tyler Peet. Ryan Grim came home third followed by Decker Swinehart and Dakota Kohler. Finishing in eighth spot was Dylan Hoch who won the 602 feature earlier in the evening.

Action returns to Grandview quickly with a Thursday night 7:30 p.m. show featuring the United States Auto Club National Sprint Tour along with the 358 Modifieds.

Saturday night, 7 p.m., a tripleheader show will be the attraction featuring the T.P.Trailer Modifieds, T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman and the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage Racers as the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series continues.

Saturday, May 1st, starting time will move to 7:30 p.m. with the Modifieds and Sportsman racers being the attraction.
