Brett Kressley, Brian Hirthler Take First Point Races Of 2021 Season At Grandview Speedway

Story By: GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY – BECHTELSVILLE, PA – After a strong third place finish in the VP Fuels Bruce Rogers Memorial last Saturday Brett Kressley charged to victory in the first NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series feature of the season for the T.P. Trailers Modifieds at Grandview Speedway Saturday night.

With the first 19 laps of the 30-lap feature being run without a caution Kressley put forward an impressive effort to top defending track champion Craig Von Dohren who finished second last Saturday also.

Finishing third was Ryan Grim followed by Rogers Memorial winner Duane Howard and veteran Kevin Hirthler. Ten time track champion Jeff Strunk came home sixth. Twenty eight cars took the green in the 30-lap feature race.

In the T.P.Truck Equipment Sportsman feature, a 25-lapper, defending champion Brian Hirthler came home first topping Brandon Edgar and 24 other starters.

Third place was earned by veteran racer Kenny Gilmore followed by Ryan Beltz and Kyle Lilick.

Coming up on Saturday, April 17th is a tripleheader card of racing featuring the 602 Sportsman along with T.P. Trailers Modifieds and T.P.TRUCK Equipment Sportsman.

Adult admission will be $18 while youngsters 11 and under are admitted free. Racing action gets the green at 7 p.m.
