Erick Rudolph Is Ready To Take On Super DIRTcar Series On The Dirt At Bristol Motor Speedway

Story By: TYLER WALKER / ERICK RUDOLPH RACING – RANSOMVILLE, NY – The inaugural “Bristol Throwdown” at Bristol Motor Speedway is set to take place April 22nd-24th, 2021 when the Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modifieds make their debut alongside the return of the World of Outlaw NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars.

It’s not too often the Super DIRTcar Series travels West of Pennsylvania. The last trip, July 2019 saw Erick Rudolph take the checkered flag in front of a nearly sold-out crowd at the famed Eldora Speedway. He is no stranger to performing at a high level in marquee events whether on dirt or asphalt and looks forward to the event.

“We have good luck it seems on those tracks out in Western Pennsylvania and Ohio. This will be an experience, to say the least, but I believe in my crew to get the job done.” Rudolph said. “I’ve raced at Bristol with the Whelen Modified Tour a few years back so I’ve been there before, it will be interesting to see what it’s like with the dirt .”

2021 started on a high note in Florida when Rudolph won the Sunshine Swing Night #1 and the overall championship at Bubbas Raceway Park in Florida. Since then we haven’t seen him outside of the Top-5 often. In the last Super DIRTcar Series event, Erick set Quick-Time, Won his Heat, and in the Feature had a mechanical failure running in the Top-2.

“We were in a good position at Can-Am, it was a tough break. We know we have speed. It takes a solid team and foundation to compete at a high level with the Super DIRTcar Series. These are the best Modified drivers in the World.” Rudolph said.

As we have witnessed this Motech Enterprises/ BBL Racing team is distinguished as one of the best in the country. Erick would like to thank everyone that makes this possible, ReVive Spine Center, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of WNY, St. Lawrence Radiology, National Maintenance Contracting Corp, Stirling Lubricants, Mohawk Northeast, Brigham Concrete, Olson Fab, Crown Benefits, Tim Hortons, and all of our product sponsors.

Rudolph and the stars of the Super DIRTcar Big-Block Modified Series will race for Bristol eminence Friday and Saturday, April 23-24. Both Friday & Saturday will feature 40-lap Features, paying $10,000-to-win.
