Heat Race Accident At Accord Tuesday Ends Stewart Friesen’s Shot At “Battle Of The Bullring” Title

Information By: HALMAR FRIESEN RACING – ACCORD, NY – It was a tough night for Stewart Friesen and the Halmar Friesen Racing team Tuesday at the Accord Speedway.

While competing in their heat race for the Short Track Super Series’ “Battle Of The Bullring,” Friesen was collected in an accident after another car had spun out in front of him.

The incident took place on the first corner of the first lap.

“We had a lot of fans here tonight to see us race and we appreciate the support,” Friesen said. “Unfortunately, we had nowhere to go.”

The car is unable to be repaired at the track and the Sprakers, NY driver was done for the evening.
