Engine Trouble For Sheppard At Accord; McGrew Team Offers Car & SuperMatt Finishes Eighth

Information By: MATT SHEPPARD MOTORSPORTS – ACCORD, NY – After driving from ninth to third in his heat race Tuesday night for the Short Track Super Series’ “Battle Of The Bullring” at Accord Speedway, Matt Sheppard and team found trouble.

The crew figured out that the motor inside the #9s Bicknell had a broken rocker arm. In turn, they determined that the engine couldn’t be repaired for the feature.

Derrick McGrew Jr and his team allowed Sheppard to run their car for the feature. He started 27th and finished in the eighth position.

“We really appreciate all their support tonight,” Sheppard said. “They kept us in the points battle for the Short Track Super Series!”
