Big Block Modified 75-Lapper With Unique Qualifying Races Awaits At Orange County May 27th

Story By: JOHN SNYDER / ORANGE COUNTY FAIR SPEEDWAY – MIDDLETOWN, NY – The United Rentals DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds return to Orange County Fair Speedway on Thursday evening, May 27 for a full racing program—the “TWIN”TY FIVE-75—that culminates with a 75-lap feature race.

This will be the first of five Thursday race meets, four of which will count towards the Orange County Modified Championship, and a fifth, the annual Super DIRTcar Modified Series “Battle of the Midway” 100.

What makes this first Thursday race even more special is the unique qualifying procedure for the feature event. Instead of the usual heat and consolation races, the field will be set by a pair of 25-lap preliminary races and a B-main last chance race.
