Humberstone Speedway Releases 2021 Tentative Schedule Of Events

Story By: STEVE PETTY / HUMBERSTONE SPEEDWAY – PORT COLBORNE, ONT – Track owner/promoter Terry Vince and Humberstone Speedway management is pleased to announce the 2021 tentative schedule of events for the historic Port Colborne, Ontario oval.

The 2021 Open House and Test & Tune session is scheduled for Sunday, May 23. The 2021 Season Opener will take place the following week, Sunday, May 30 with the Crate Sprints, Sportsman, Late Models, Street Stocks and Mini Stocks round out the program.

Entering the month of June, the 358 Modifieds will make their season debut on June 6, joining the Late Models, Street Stocks, and Mini Stocks. Sunday, June 13, the Sportsman will join the Late Models, Street Stocks, and Mini Stocks. The traditional Father’s Day special on June 20 will feature the 358 Modifieds and the Crate Sprints plus Street Stocks and Minis. June 27 will be a four-star show with the Sportsman, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Mini Stocks.

Canada Day Weekend will see a two-day show at Humberstone Speedway. Thursday, July 1, the Late Models will be joined by the UMP-style Modifieds, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Vintage Cars. On Sunday, July 4, the Canada Day Weekend twin-bill will feature the 358 Modifieds, Crate Sprints, Sportsman, and the Street Stocks. Sunday, July 11 will see the 360 Sprint Cars make their first appearance of the season plus Sportsman, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, and the Mod Lites. On July 18, the 358’s return plus the Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Mini Stocks. The following week, the Late Models are back and will be joined by the Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Mini Stocks.

The 62nd Annual All-Canadian Championship Weekend will be a two-day doubleheader. On Saturday, July 31, the 360 Sprints will be joined by the Crate Sprints, Late Models, and Vintage Cars. Sunday, August 1, the 62nd All-Canadian Championships will take place with the 358 Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Mini Stocks.

Sunday, August 8, the racing action will feature the Sportsman, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Mini Stocks. Sunday, August 15, the 360 Sprints and the 358 Modifieds co-headline the show that also features the Street Stocks and Mini Stocks. August 22nd will feature the Sportsman, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Mini Stocks. Sunday, August 29th will be the annual Pete Cosco Memorial featuring the 358 Modifieds, plus Sportsman, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Mini Stocks.

The month of September will kick off with the Labour Day Shootout on Sunday, September 5. The UMP-style Modifieds returns plus the Sportsman, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Mini Stocks. The Mod Lites return on September 12 joining the Sportsman, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Mini Stocks. Sunday, September 19, the 360 Sprints and Crate Sprints make it a sprint car doubleheader with the Street Stocks and Mini Stocks. Season Championship Night will take place on Sunday, September 26 with the 358 Modifieds, Sportsman, Late Models, and Mini Stocks.

The annual and popular Eve of Destruction returns on Sunday, October 2. The 2021 edition of the Eve of Destruction will be bigger and better than ever with increased payoffs.

A partnership has been formed with Impact Motorsports that will bring four events planned for 2021 and will include a designated area in the infield to compete. Those events will take place on June 5, July 17, August 21, and October 16.
