Norm Hansell To Bring Danny Bouc To Big Diamond In ’21; Joins Stout Weekly Mod Field

Story By: BIG DIAMOND SPEEDWAY – MINERSVILLE, PA – Big Diamond Speedway already boasts an extraordinarily strong field of 358 Modifieds on a weekly basis. Now you can add one more to that list in 2021 with the addition of Danny Bouc to the weekly fold.

Bouc who has never raced regularly on Friday nights will strap himself into the cockpit of the iconic Norm Hansell No. 357 for Friday night action. Hansell has fielded modifieds at Big Diamond for many years piloted by some of the greatest modified drivers ever to race.

The 2018 winner of the Jack Rich Coalcracker 72, Bouc is eager to get started at Big Diamond in 2021 at a track he usually runs very well at. It will be a new challenge for Bouc who has called New Egypt Speedway his home track for most of his career, but it is a challenge the 30 year-old Pipersville, PA driver is looking forward to taking on.

“I am really looking forward to running Big Diamond on a weekly basis,” cited Bouc. “I am excited to be racing there. The last couple of times there haven’t gone super well but I have always loved the place, but it was so tough for me to get there on a Friday night with my own stuff and only having one car really makes it difficult. Every time I am there, I run pretty decent and I’m sure Norm’s stuff runs really well there, and I think we can be a really good combo there this year.”

Bouc will join an already talented weekly field expected to consist of Craig Von Dohren, Duane Howard, Billy Pauch Jr, Jeff Strunk, Rick Laubach, Timmy Buckwalter, Alex Yankowski, Jared Umbenhauer and many others who will make Big Diamond Speedway the place to be on Friday nights in 2021.

A couple of sneak peeks for the 2021 schedule include the USAC 410 Wingless Sprints making their return to the track on April 23rd as part of their annual Eastern Storm swing. The Bob Hilbert powered by Sunoco Short Track Super Series will make their annual stop at Big Diamond on Tuesday night June 8th with the presentation of the “Anthracite Assault”.
