Outlaw Speedway Preparing For 2020 To Start; First Event Will Be Arnot Mall Car Show

Story By: KENNY SHUPP / OUTLAW SPEEDWAY – DUNDEE, NY – Outlaw Speedway owner/promoter, Tyler Siri and his staff are putting the finishing touches on the 2020 Arnot Mall Car Show set for March 28 thru March 29.

The Big Flats, NY facility will once again be the setting for the 5th Annual Outlaw Speedway Car Show Event with car show entrants rolling their mounts in on Friday evening, March 27 with dismissal on Sunday night March 29.

According to Siri, “We are proud to have Lane’s Yamaha back onboard as the headline sponsor of the 2020 Arnot Mall Car Show. Malcolm Lane and his entire family have been a mainstay within the local race community and their support of Outlaw Speedway has been unprecedented stretching nearly half a century!”

All regular Outlaw Speedway competitors in any of their weekly divisions of competition are encouraged to attend this year’s event to proudly display their 2020 equipment and any driver wishing to enter their car is encouraged to register on line by going thru the track email address which is enclosed below. Include the drivers name, phone number, car number and class of competition.

All entrants are required to be at Center Court of the Arnot Mall by 8:00 pm on Friday, March 27 for a brief meeting and to get their entry door and designated exhibit information. It is anticipated that entry into the Arnot Mall will be at approximately 9:30 pm that night with exit on Sunday afternoon at 6:00 pm.

During the 2- day event representatives of Outlaw Speedway will be on hand and armed with 2020 schedule cards and to answer questions. In addition, the all new line of 2020 Outlaw Speedway Apparel will be available as well as reserved seating.

Fans will be allowed to stroll the spacious Arnot Mall and partake in the 2020 Outlaw Speedway Car Show during regular mall hours with doors opening early in the morning both days.

Saturday, March 28 will be the busiest day of the show with the Pit Stop Challenge sponsored by Goodrich Auto Works and Goody’s Graphics of Bath, NY. Everyone is encouraged to take a shot at the Goodrich Pit Stop Challenge during the evening where 2 -person crew members will race against the clock in changing the right rear tire on Tyler Siri’s TEO Pro Car Modified at Center Court of the Arnot Mall. This event is open to any male or female adults and entries will be accepted throughout the entire day on Saturday.

Last year, The Doctor, Danny Johnson teamed up with long time Outlaw Speedway Pit Steward and current Race Director, Tommy Curtis to claim the unique trophies hand crafted by the staff at Goodrich Auto Works and Goody’s Graphics.

The Driver Autograph Session is always a huge hit particularly with the young race fans as they get an opportunity to visit with their favorite drivers in a relaxed atmosphere. Times for both the Pit Stop Challenge as well as the Autograph Session will be posted later as more details become available.

Racers are reminded to come prepared with plastic, cardboard or carpeting which will cover the entire undercarriage and tires of their vehicles. Liquid body wax and liquid tire shine are prohibited.
