Memorial Race At Thunder Mountain Speedway Planned To Honor Legendary Racer Mike Colsten
Story By: THUNDER MOUNTAIN SPEEDWAY – CENTER LISLE, NY – Mike Colsten spent his life living his dream. In over 51 years of racing, his accomplishments are countless.
In addition to the many career wins, track championships and the 51-year marriage to his beautiful wife and cheerleader Lea, he was inducted into the New York State Stock Car Association Hall of Fame, Central New York Stock Car Hall of Fame as well as the DIRT Motorsports Hall of Fame.
Mike was a hero and mentor to so many both on and off the track. Therefore, in celebration of a man who achieved legend status, it is our great honor to host the Mike Colsten “Mr. Ford Power” Memorial race at Thunder Mountain Speedway.
Join us Tuesday, June 9, 2020 as we pay tribute to Mr. Ford Power.
The program will include a 51-lap Modified race and tribute. The Crate Sportsman and 600cc Modified classes will also compete.
