Thunder Mountain Speedway Shakes Things Up For 2020 Season

Story By: THUNDER MOUNTAIN SPEEDWAY – CENTER LISLE, NY – Thunder Mountain Speedway’s 2020 season will bring several new and exciting changes.

The open sportsman class has been replaced with a new 358 modified class. The class will follow DIRT rules and vie for a $3,000 season championship sponsored in memory of Christopher Gennarelli Jr.

The 358’s will run 30 laps weekly for a $1,200 to win payday. We’re excited to see the 358’s breathe new life into the Mountain for 2020.

Hoosier Racing Tire will become the official track tire for the next three seasons. We’re exited to welcome Hoosier to the TMS family. Tires as well as parts and fuel will be made available at the track weekly.

A drivers meeting will take place in December to discuss the new season, answer any questions you might have and to make further announcements such as increases in purse.

We look forward to celebrating the 2019 season at our Celebration of Champions event on December 7, 2019!
