The Weather Forecast For Upstate New York This Weekend (June 8-10)

Forecast By: REBECCA LADD / RPW – METEOROLOGIST – Here is the upcoming forecast for this weekend near Upstate New York, so you can plan accordingly.

Friday:

Tomorrow will be much warmer than today as a warm front advances north, that southwest flow will also bring more humidity into the region. We will see an upper level disturbance moves across southeast Canada; this could bring the chance for a few scattered showers, late Friday night into early Saturday for northern Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Saturday :

We will see a weak cold front move south out of Canada, this is going to stall across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We will see low pressure out of the Midwest move along this frontal boundary. While Most of New York State and New England have a dry weekend. There will be the risk for scattered showers and thunderstorms across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and points south. Some of these showers could possibly make it into the New York Southern Tier and southern Connecticut. For those in Pennsylvania and the Middle Atlantic Saturday will be hot and humid. Because of this later tomorrow into Saturday evening there is the risk for severe weather across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, into Maryland and Delaware. Damaging winds, hail, and heavy downpours would be the major concern.

Sunday:

High pressure building out of Canada, will push that frontal boundary farther south. Aside from some left over showers across parts of Pennsylvania and the northern Middle Atlantic Sunday should end up a nice dry day, with lower levels of humidity.
