Just Days Remain Until Outlaw Speedway’s 3rd Annual Spring Nationals

Story By: KENNY SHUPP / OUTLAW SPEEDWAY – DUNDEE, NY – After months of preparation, promotion, dedication, hype and hoopla, it is time for the racing to take center stage at the Outlaw Speedway as Nut Up and Out Ball Em will present the 3rd Annual Spring Nationals at the historic Yates County Speed plant.

The March and early April 2018 weather has been highly abnormal, but that has not deterred the Tyler Siri led Outlaw Speedway track maintenance crew to roll up their sleeves and do whatever it has taken to get the facility ready to swing open the gates for the first official race event of the “18” campaign.

Mother Nature has not been kina to very many race facilities north of the Mason Dixon Line thus far in the early part of the year, but everyone at the Outlaw Speedway is ready to roll with the season lid lifter set to go on Friday, April 20.

According to track owner, Tyler Siri, “The racing surface was completely graded and sealed up late last year, so we feel very comfortable that the track will be just fine. We had an awesome practice on April 13 with 87 cars in attendance and the track surface was beautiful all night long. The spectator parking lots and the pit area has dried very nicely. Concession stands are fully stocked and we’re all set to swing the gates! After talking with countless racers in virtually every class that will race on Friday, April 20 I feel very confident that we will have a huge car count. Being the first race of the season not only at this track but at any track in the region we know the place is going to be packed with fans. The anticipation of this event is at a fever pitch and it has all the makings of a home run.”

Just days remain before the gates swing open for fans to see a full card of ESS and Patriot 360 Sprints. The BB/SB Modifieds will join the winged sprints to make it a virtual win/win for the fans. A full contingent of super competitive GRIT Sportsman, the classy looking Street Stocks, open wheel IMCA Fastshaft and 4 cylinders Outlaw Style make up the 6 card event.

With the high anticipation of big numbers in the pit area the back gates will open at 3:00 pm to avoid long lines getting into the pits. The main gates open at 4:30 along with rides on the Monster Truck. Hot laps are scheduled for 6:00 pm and the first green waving promptly at 7:00 pm.

Should the weather become a problem on Friday, the complete show will be moved to Saturday with all gate, admission and start times remaining the same.

Coleman Gulick of Nut Up and Out Ball Em knows the importance of this event and has logged on to sponsor this high powered racing event. More information ii at www.nuaobe.com
