Story By: DAN KAPUSCINSKI / TEAM TAPOUT RACING – OSWEGO, NY – Tyler Thompson capped an incredibly successful indoor racing season last weekend at the Northeast Motorsports Expo & Races in York, PA with five more championship victories in karting action.

Driving multiple machines for Team Tapout, Slack Karts and Performance Manufacturing, Thompson won two Champ Kart main events on Saturday night including the $500 to win Pro Champ finale.

On Sunday, Thompson continued his Champ Kart domination by winning both Champ features including another $500 championship prize. To top it off, Thompson also drove to victory lane in the Clone 360 trophy event.

Part-time Team Tapout kart racer Brad Duhow was also in action for the team over the weekend, picking up three feature wins in the Yamaha division; two trophy events and the Pro finale.

“I would say our last indoor race of the season with our Slack Karts and Performance Manufacturing hot rod was a success,” said Thompson. “Huge thanks to everyone that helped out and played a role over the weekend. Also, thank you to the Northeast Motorsports Expo and everyone that helped to put everything together. It is close to the top of the list of my favorite indoor facilities. Can’t wait until next year.”

Thompson will next travel to Selinsgrove, PA for the opening round of the Burris Money Series at Selinsgrove Speedway on Sunday, April 8.
