Story By: PETERSEN MEDIA FOR TARLTON MOTORSPORTS – FREMONT, CA – Taking the year off from competing full time with the King of the West Series after winning the series title in 2015 and 2016, Tarlton Motorsports is gearing up to go after the series crown in 2018 with Fremont, CA hot shoe Shane Golobic in the seat.

“I’m really excited and honored to run for the KWS/NARC Championship in 2018 with Tarlton Motorsports,” Shane Golobic said. “I am thankful for the opportunity to be a part of Tom and Tommy Tarlton’s team, and I look forward to working alongside Paul Baines through the year. I really feel like we will be a tough team to beat. I am eager to get things started, and am very lucky to be a part of two of the best teams on the West Coast.”

Golobic takes over the wheel of the Elite Landscape Construction/Tarlton and Son, Inc./Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino No. 21x machine fresh off of an amazing 2017 season that saw the versatile driver compete 81 times, record 10 wins, 18 second place finishes, and a total of 46 Top-5’s while competing in winged and non winged sprint cars, as well as on the USAC National Midget Tour.

Following a trip to Chico, CA for the Bradway Memorial on May 5th, the team will be on display in Tulare, CA again on May 19th and June 2nd, before traveling more north.
