Thunder Road Speedbowl 2018 Schedule Released
Column By: MATTHEW WIERNASZ / RPW – BARRE, VT – Thunder Road Speedbowl announced their 2018 schedule on Monday. The season will kickoff on Sunday, April 29 with the 20th annual Community Bank 150. The Lenny Shoe’s and Apparel Flying Tigers, Allen Lumber Street Stocks, and the Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors will be apart of the program as well.
The 56th annual Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic will return on Sunday May 27 as the Pro All Star Series Super Late Models will make a visit to the “:Nation Site Of Excitement”.
The weekly schedule will kickoff with a special event on Friday, June 8 with the first Thursday event to be held on June 14. and will be held through August 23.
The Aubuchon Hardware Holiday Spectacular will be held on Tuesday, July 3. The 39th annual VP Racing Fuels Governor’s Cup 150 will be held on Thursday, July 19. The King Of The Road Late Model Champion will be crowned on Thursday, August 23.
The 40th annual Coca Cola Labor Day Classic for the ACT Tour will be held on Sunday, September 2.
The 56th annual Vermont Milk Bowl will be held on Friday through Sunday September 28-30. There will be a special event held on Friday September 28 with details to follow in the near future. The Booth Bros/H.P. Hood Qualifying Day will be held on Saturday, September 29 with the 56th annual Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank be held on Sunday, September 30.
