Zearfoss Charges Hard For Top Ten During Living Legends Dream Race

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – Continuing a trend that has been in place since the start of the season, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss earned a top-ten performance yet again at the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace,” this time charging 11 positions to do so on Saturday, July 29.

Zearfoss, pilot of the Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Meckley’s Limestone/Central Builders Supply Co./Berkebile Oil Company/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/No. 3Z during all starts at the Juniata County Fairgrounds half-mile, earned his most recent top-ten finish during the annual Living Legends Dream Race, climbing from 21st to finish tenth, officially. The Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native had to do things the hard way; winning the evening’s B-main after losing a fuel line during the semi-feature qualifier.

“That wasn’t how we wanted to start the night during the Living Legends Dream Race, but we made the best of it and advanced high enough to keep our top-ten streak going,” Zearfoss explained. “Once we got rolling we were really good. I think if we started closer to the front, we may have had a shot. We’ll work to keep things going in the right direction next weekend.”

Brock Zearfoss will continue his 2017 campaign with starts at Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway on Friday and Saturday, August 4-5, respectively. The two-time winner during 410 cubic inch sprint car competition in 2017, one of which against the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series, will enter the weekend seventh in the Central PA Sprint Cars presented by Hoseheads point standings.

Like prior starts, Zearfoss will pilot the Aaron Long-owned/H&N Landscaping/RV 4 Wheel Drive/Leahys Auto Body & Towing/No. 58 during his visit to Williams Grove Speedway on Friday.
