Zearfoss Finishes Fourth In PA Sprint Speedweek Standings

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – Wrapping up a recent schedule consisting of nine events in ten days, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss ended his 2017 Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek campaign with five top-ten finishes, highlighting results with a pair of runner-up performances during competition at Path Valley Speedway Park and Williams Grove Speedway, respectively.

The Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native qualified for all nine main events and ended his efforts well within the top-five of the final Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek standings.

On a special note, Zearfoss’ pair of runner-up finishes occurred in two different cars; the Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Meckley’s Limestone/Central Builders Supply Co./Berkebile Oil Company/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/No. 3Z at Path Valley Speedway Park, and the Aaron Long-owned/H&N Landscaping/RV 4 Wheel Drive/Leahys Auto Body & Towing/ No. 58 at Williams Grove Speedway.

Other Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek highlights include finishing ninth at Grandview Speedway, eighth at Port Royal Speedway, and sixth during the Speedweek finale at Selinsgrove Speedway on Sunday, July 9.

“What a week for everyone,” Brock Zearfoss explained. “I’m proud of everyone involved. We showed a lot of consistency and perseverance this week. I’m especially proud of what we were able to accomplish with the ‘58’ team. We’ve been plugging away and it’s paying off. That first win with Aaron Long is coming soon.”

Brock Zearfoss will continue his 2017 season with visits to Williams Grove Speedway, Port Royal Speedway and Susquehanna Speedway on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 14-16. A World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Tune-Up will be conducted at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, followed by a regular program at the Port Royal “Speed Palace,” all capped off with BAPS Paint Night at Susquehanna.
