Race Of Champions Sportsman Series To Visit Ohsweken On Night 2 Of Summer Nationals

Story By: RACE OF CHAMPIONS – OHSWEKEN, ONT – The Race of Champions Dirt 602 Sportsman Modified Series presented by Product 9 heads to the ultra-modern Ohsweken Speedway in Ontario-Canada to play a role in one of the biggest racing nights in Ontario this season as the Series takes part in Arrow Express & Nitro 54 Variety night two of the Summer Nationals which will be telecast on MAVTV Canada.

The Ohsweken event continues the chase for Crate Sportsman racers across the region. James Michael Friesen of Saint Catharines, Ontario won the opener at Humberstone Speedway in Port Colborne, Ontario. Dylan Davidson of Saint Catharines, Ontario made a dramatic drive from the 11th starting position to win at Merrittville Speedway in Thorold, Ontario on Canada Day.

“We are coming to Ohsweken (Speedway) with some confidence,” stated Davidson. “We’ve been running strong this season and Ohsweken is a great place. This is a great division with many great competitors. I’m really looking forward to this race and hoping we have a good night. It’s going to be exciting.”

The Race of Champions Series joins all of the exciting action at Ohsweken as part of the Summer Nationals which includes Tony Stewart, Rico Abreu and Christopher Bell competing in Sprint Cars at Canada’s home for Sprint Car Racing with the popular 360 Sprint Car division.
