A Little Bit About Myself:

“I have lived every aspect of the sport of Auto Racing.  From the age of four, when I strapped a helmet on for the first time, I knew I loved the rush of adrenaline.
I have been a crew member, a driver, a media person, a public relations person, and now, a race parts business owner (DMC Racing Products located in New Lebanon, NY).
I’ve enjoyed the excitement of victory lane, as a driver, a crewman, and as a promoter of a special event.  I love being able to help my customers and promote the sport in a positive light.”

A Little Bit About Myself:
“I started attending races at Riverside Park Speedway when I was a kid to watch the modifieds. I worked at the track the last two years it was opened and my father announced at “The Park” for many years.
In 2001, I went to Monadnock Speedway on Saturdays and by 2005, I wanted to do more.  It was then that I decided to be apart of covering the races and taking photos at the tracks.  I have been doing it ever since with going to different tracks and covering different touring series.
In 2008, I started writing. I love capturing the action, and with writing, it helps to preserve the memories that people can share for a long time.”

I am a life-long race fan. I grew up around legends cars (KLASCAR Tour) and all different forms of racing. I like to cover it all (dirt, asphalt, road course racing, even the World Rally Championship).”

A Little Bit About Myself:
Originally from Upstate New York, I grew up going to dirt races throughout the state being a Billy Decker fan. I also started going to the NASCAR weekend at Watkins Glen at age 2. In my 18 years since then, I have only missed it twice.

In 2013, I got the opportunity to travel with Mr. Decker to a majority of the Super DIRTcar Series races he went to. The next year, I went to more as a crew member and was on stage for his championship at the World Finals.

I went off to college at Coastal Carolina University to study physics in hopes of becoming a NASCAR engineer.  I currently work as a professional photographer for Brandonbilt Motorsports, a small NASCAR team out of Fredericksburg, VA.

Beyond NASCAR, I shoot any race I can get to, whether it be dirt or asphalt.”

“Ever since I walked through the gates of Lebanon Valley Speedway at age 6, I always wanted racing to be part of my life. Since I didn’t have the funding to race myself, I needed to find another way.
I can’t begin to express the feelings I have of filming at the track. Not only has it become a full-time career, but I’ve grown to have a greater appreciation for the men and women who make it happen. I’m just glad to be a part of it.”

A Little Bit About Myself:
“As a child my brothers and I always looked forward to going to my Grandparents house because my Pap used to get National Speed Sport sent to his house. We loved seeing all the photos inside and looked forward to trips with them to Williams Grove, Selinsgrove, and Port Royal.
My Grandmother was a Mitch Smith fan & my Pap was a Smokey Snellbaker fan. Trips to the races was always fun and it still is after all these years. No doubt if my Grandfather was still alive he would be very proud of my accomplishments since I started shooting Motorsports.
In 2011, I made the switch from shooting weddings, family and senior portraits to Motorsports.  After less than a year, I was ask by Tom Wingert (owner of Lucky Shot Photography) to join the rest of his crew as a Track Photographer at Susquehanna Speedway.  A year later, I started shooting for Area Auto Racing News, providing photos for them at various tracks in Central PA.
Beside running High Groove Photos, I have also provided photos for Hoseheads.com, The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, USAC Racing, & PAPosseRacing.com.  At the beginning of 2016, I became a member of the York County Racing Club and Eastern Motorsports Press Association.
Later in the year I joined Race Pro Weekly and became the RPW representative for Central PA.  Most recently, I was ask to be the track photographer at Williams Grove Speedway for WRT Speedwerx.
The friendships that I have made since I’ve been a Motorsports Photographer has been simply amazing.  From drivers, fellow photographers, track officials & security, track owners, push truck drivers, and even those who work in the concession stands and ticket booths. These past few years has been very rewarding and I look forward to all the challenges ahead and I promise to do my best not to disappoint.”

A Little Bit About Myself:
“Growing up the son of a race photographer during the glory days of dirt racing, I spent my weekends at the dirt tracks of the Northeast. Alcyon, Reading, Langhorne, East Windsor and Bridgeport were my weekend homes.  My dad laid a strong foundation for my future in photography, teaching me how to capture the emotion of the sport, both on the track and in the pits.
I continued to shoot even after my dad moved to Florida in the early 90s.  After taking a decade or so off to raise my family and build my yacht service business, I returned in 2010 to pursue a passion which had never died.
I am a proud member of the Eastern Motorsports Press Association, a “Hard Card” holder with ARCA and am regularly published in Area Auto Racing News as well as many on-line racing publications.  I have been honored with many photography awards, including the 2015 EMPA Portfolio of the Year.
I can be found weekly in the pits, and in the infield, at Bridgeport Speedway. I also cover racing events at other venues, including New Egypt Speedway, Georgetown Speedway and New Jersey Motorsports Park.  Like my father before me, I work hard to mentor young photographers looking to get started in motorsports photography and try to help them and encourage them in any way I can.
Beyond my photography, I am very proud of my efforts on behalf Charlie Deal Lefler, the son of driver Jason Lefler, who died in an unfortunate accident at Bridgeport Speedway in 2013. With the help of countless passionate and caring volunteers, cooperating tracks and racing organizations, we were able to present a check in excess of $65,000.00 to the USAC Benevolent Foundation, earmarked for Charlie’s future education.”

A Little Bit About Myself:

Racing has been in my family for generations.  I was born into it.  It’s part of me.  It’s a big part of my life.

My dad had racecars, specifically Dirt Modified in the 60s & 70s for drivers Sonny Strutt & Mr. Del George Sr; as well as Legends (80s) & a Modified (90s to Present) with Shaun Carrig.  When I was born, my name was on our car where the driver’s name would go!

My love for racing and the “Racing Family” is the greatest gift my Dad ever instilled in us. I used to help in the pits, being close to the action and loved taking pictures.  After being on a pit crew for many years, I turned to media to promote my love of racing.  That’s when I was able to utilize my photography skills and School of Visual Arts classes.

I married into another racing family which supports my love of photo documenting race events.  Racing is a family event for us and we have so much love for the sport.  Racing is my passion and I love being able to interact with fans, sponsors, drivers, teams as well as promoting race tracks through the eyes of RPW (Race Pro Weekly)!”

A Little Bit About Myself:
“I grew up at Williams Grove, Lincoln and Susquehanna Speedways as my family would spectate at these tracks regularly. I had an interest in cameras and photography when I was in my early teens, and acquired my first 35mm film camera when I was 14 years old.
With my love of the sport, I enjoyed taking that camera to the tracks and capturing images of my childhood heroes and the tracks they raced at. I shot off and on over the years, but took it more seriously over that last few years, as my “hobby” evolved into more of a “passion.”
I shot video at some tracks in the mid 2000s, but decided to get back into “still” photography, as I combined two of my main interests (motorsports and photography) into one.
In general, the tracks that I’ve frequented the most are Williams Grove Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, Susquehanna Speedway, Port Royal Speedway, and Selinsgrove Speedway.  I would sometimes spectate, and sometimes I was toting a video camera or DSLR camera.  My preferred choice for the future, would be to be there with a camera.”
