Garrett Krummert Narrows Point Gap At Lernerville With Feature Win Friday Evening
Story By: ERIC WESTENDORF / LERNERVILLE SPEEDWAY – SARVER, PA – Inches of rain throughout the week provided a fast, tricky and sometimes bumpy ride for the heroes of Fab4 Racing Revved Up with Marburger Farm Dairy.
In the Diehl Modifieds, Defending Track Champion Garrett Krummert took advantage of late race restart to narrow the gap to just three points behind current points later Jeremiah Shingledecker.
In back-to-back features, Jared Miley and Brandon Matus led all 25 laps en route to their third and second feature wins respectively of the season.
In doing so, Matus extended his points lead over four-time and defending Track Champion AJ Flick. Finally, in the Pic-A-Part Penn Ohio Pro Stocks, Brian Daugherty ran down and passed early feature leader Brett Hutira for his first Lernerville feature win.
