RPW Column: Accord Speedway Announces Make-Up Dates For July 16th Postponed Features
Column By: MIKE TRAVERSE / RPW – ACCORD, NY – Accord Speedway completed two of the scheduled seven features on July 16th before circumstances forced postponement of the remaining features.
The speedway has announced on their Facebook page the dates that the make up races are scheduled to be completed.
The Pure Stocks had 4 laps completed Friday before the race was halted, This coming Friday, July 23rd, the Pure Stock will complete that feature along with their regularly scheduled feature. The previously scheduled 4 Cylinder Enduro has been cancelled.
On July 30th, the North East Wingless Sprints and the 4 Cylinders will run double features.
On August 6th, the Modifieds will run double features.
On August 13th, the Rookie Sportsman will run double features.
All drivers in the make up races are required to have been qualified for the original race date of July 16th.
This coming Friday, July 23rd, it is Camera and Autograph Night at Accord Speedway, presented by Williams Lumber. It is one of the very popular events on Accord’s schedule. The competitors will bring their cars onto the front stretch to meet and greet the fans and a great time is had by both fans and drivers. Come on out for a fun night at Accord.
