Family Fun & Great Racing Continues Friday At Brewerton Speedway; McDonalds Signs Inks Sponsorship Deal
Story By: DAVE MEDLER / BREWERTON SPEEDWAY – BREWERTON, NY – The racing at the Brewerton Speedway has been as hot as the summer weather and will continue this Friday, July 9 when NAPA Auto Parts presents a night of fast, affordable family fun at the speedway.
Racing on the ‘D-Shaped Dirt Demon’ will feature the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, AmeriCU Credit Union Mod Lites, Fleet Repairs 4-Cylinders plus a visit from the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour.
The three top finishing 358-Modifieds will receive $300, $200 and $100 respectively in addition to their base purse.
Adult grandstand admission is $15 everyone 18 years old and younger, free. Pit admission is $35. Gates will open at 5:30 pm with racing at 7:30 pm.
Last Friday Michael Maresca became the first driver to win more than one feature after he held off a rapidly closing Jimmy Phelps for his second win of the year.
Like the Modifieds, it took until last Friday to have the first repeat winner this season in the Sportsman. Chris Mackey won his second of the year after a classic edge-of-your-seat battle with Alan Fink over the final 5 laps.
Joe Isabell made his first night back in the Mod Lites after time away from the sport a good one as he picked up the big feature win.
Chris Bonoffski’s first start of the season in the 4-Cylinders equaled a trip to victory lane as he dominated the 15-lap feature.

McDonald’s Restaurants Inks Partnership With Brewerton & Fulton Speedways
The management of the Brewerton and Fulton Speedways and McDonald’s ® Restaurants are pleased to announce a major marketing partnership for the rest of the 2021 racing season. This multi-faceted program will see McDonald’s ® return as a major speedway event sponsor while providing weekly fan and race team incentives.

McDonald’s ® Restaurants of Brewerton and Fulton will continue to be the Official Post-Race Pit Stop for speedway fans and participants. After each event at Brewerton and Fulton, make a quick stop in to either store for a deeply discounted Big Mack Extra-Value Meal Deal with the presentation of that event’s ticket stub or pit wristband.
Be on the lookout for several McDonald’s ® Race Fan Appreciation Events at the Brewerton and Fulton McDonald’s ® stores in 2021. The Brewerton Store will host the first one, this Friday July 9 with Sportsman Star Amy Holland and her #5 on display from 3pm – 5pm.
McDonald’s ® has signed on to be the title sponsor of the August 13 and 14 Monster Truck Nationals at Fulton Speedway. The Monster Truck Nationals is Fulton Speedway’s newest marquee event, featuring some of the nation’s best Monster Trucks competing in freestyle, racing and skills competitions. Joining the family friendly Monster Trucks will be the Renegade Tough Trucks and Mini Monster Trucks. Fans can visit participating McDonald’s ® Restaurants the week of the event for Monster Truck appearances and ticket specials.
