Brock Zearfoss Cleared To Compete; Knoxville World Of Outlaws Doubleheader Ahead

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – Effective immediately, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss is cleared to compete and will return to World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series competition this Friday and Saturday, June 11-12, for the Brownells Big Guns Bash at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa.

Despite his near-two week medical leave, sidelined due to lingering concussion symptoms, Brock Zearfoss will return to competition with a boost of momentum on his side, as his most recent outing with the Greatest Show On Dirt resulted in back-to-back top-ten finishes at Attica Raceway Park and Sharon Speedway, respectively.

“I can’t thank Dr. Collins and his entire medical team enough for getting me healthy again. I’m ready to get back to work,” Zearfoss said, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Meckley’s Limestone Products, Berkebile Oil Company, Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, X-1 Race Cars, No. 3Z sprint car. “The last thing I wanted to hear from a doctor was ‘you can’t race,’ but I’m glad I got checked out and I feel better than ever. I was fortunate enough to have an incredible medical team on my side and now I can return to the seat more confident than ever. I’m ready to get to Knoxville.”

The Brownells Big Guns Bash will award a total winner’s share equaling $16,000; $6,000 on Friday and $10,000 on Saturday.
