Paul McMahan & CJB Motorsports Stout Against World Of Outlaws At Lincoln Speedway

Story By: NATALIE JACKSON / CJB MOTORSPORTS – CARLISLE, PA – With the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series in their own back yard, Paul McMahan and the CJB Motorsports team swung into action as the tour visited Lincoln Speedway near Abbottstown, Pa. on Wednesday, May 12th.

McMahan timed in 1st in the second flight of time trials, finished 2nd in heat race, 6th in the dash and then 14th in the feature.

The team then rejoined the Flo Racing All Star Circuit of Champions for a weekend double header. Up first was a stop at I-96 Speedway near Lake Odessa, Mich. on Friday, May 14th. McMahan timed in 7th, won his heat race, finished 3rd in the first dash and then 4th in the feature.

The last race of the weekend for the team was at the Dirt Oval at Route 66 near Jolliet, Ill. on Saturday, May 15th. McMahan timed in 5th, finished 3rd in the heat race, 7th in the dash and 12th in the feature.

“We have some speed,” said McMahan, driver of the #23 RE Pierson Construction, Nyce, Crete & Landis Block and Concrete, C&S Lawn and Landscape, High Performance Lubricants, Ecynbro Trucking machine. “We just need luck to go our way for a change. Really looking forward to getting to Indiana this week.”

The team will be in action with Buddy Kofoid taking his firs turn behind the wheel of a CJB machine on Tuesday, May 18th at Bridgeport (N.J.) Motorsports Park before McMahan returns to the seats at Circle City Raceway in Indianapolis, Ind. on May 20th and 21st. McMahan will also be in action at Gas City (Ind.) I-69 Speedway on May 22nd and Kokomo (Ind.) Speedway on May 23rd.
