Outlaw Speedway Releases 2021 Schedule Of Events; Season Set To Kick off April 10th
Story By: KENNY SHUPP / OUTLAW SPEEDWAY – DUNDEE, NY – The Outlaw Speedway will begin the 2021 season with the Annual Arnot Mall Car Show set for March 27 and 28, 2021. Two open practice dates are set for Saturday, April 3 and Friday April 9. A $25 fee will be charged for pit admission for both practice sessions with free grandstand admission.
Then on Saturday, April 10 Tyler Siri will swing the gates for his sixth continual season as owner/promoter of the popular Yates County Oval with the running of the Lucas Oil Nationals with the Modifieds racing for $3,000 to win. The American Racer and Hoosier Tire Sportsman will both run for $1,500 with Street Stocks racing for a winner’s check of $1,000. The Crate Late Models will be on the card for $1200 to win, 4 Cylinder Mini Stocks and Hobby Stocks will both race for $750 to win.
Friday, April 16,2021 will see the running of the Annual Cindy Lane Memorial Spring Nationals with the 360 Sprints and the Modifieds both racing for $3,000 to win. The American Racer Tire and Hoosier Tire Sportsman will both race for $1,500 to win. 4 Cylinders and Hobby Stocks go off for $750 to win each and the Street stocks will compete for $1,000.
Saturday, April 17 will be the rain date for the April 16 event.
The first ever running of the Roy Silvers Memorial is set to go on April 23 and will mark the first full point night of the year which includes a Super 7 Show.
Outlaw Speedway will wrap up the month of April on the 30th with Little League Baseball Night and a Super 7 Show.
The traditional Mother’s Day Night Super 7 Show is set to go on May 7 followed by the Inaugural running of the Mike Jackson Memorial Super 7 Show on May 14.
The lone midweek show will go off on Tuesday, May 18 with the Annual Short Track Super Series event for Modifieds. Also, on the card it will be an Open Tire Sportsman, $1,000 to win Street Stocks, 4 cylinders and Hobby Stocks each race for $750. It is also designated as Autograph night.
Outlaw Speedway will bounce right back in three days on Friday, May 21 for a Super 7 Show including Active Duty and Veterans Night.
The track will close out the month of May will the Annual Gary Montgomery Memorial featuring the Rush Crate Late Model Touring Series racing for $2,000 to win along with a Super 6 Show.
June opens on Friday the 4th with the Arthur and Cynthia MacMillian Super 7 show followed by the Traditional Fire Fighter/EMT Night Super 7 Show on June 11.
The Jeff Searles Memorial Super 7 Show is set to go off on Friday, June 18 and Outlaw Speedway will pull the curtain on June on Friday the 25th with the Summer Kick Off Super 7 Show.
July opens with the Traditional Fireworks Extravaganza and Super 7 Show on Friday, July 2 followed by Girls and Boys Club Night on July 9 featuring a Super 7 Show.
Friday, July 16 will see the first 1 on 1 Spectator races at Outlaw in 2021 along with a Super 7 Show
July 23 will see the Annual Boy Scout Night which includes a Super 7 Show.
Outlaw Speedway will wrap-up the month of July with the Annual 2-night Steve Kent Memorial Summer Nationals featuring the first ever appearance at Outlaw Speedway for the ULMS Super Late Models racing for $3,000 to win. Also, on the card the 360 Sprints and Modifieds go off for $3,000 to win each. Open Tire Sportsman go for $1,500 to win. Street Stocks will see the winner taking home $1,000 and the 4 Cylinders and Hobby Stocks will go for $750 to win. Saturday, July 31 is reserved as the rain date for the July 30 event.
The four Friday month of July kicks off with the Annual NASCAR Night at the track on August 6 followed by the Gene DuPuy Memorial on the 13th, American Legion Night follows on the 20th with United Way Night on August 27. All four August dates include a Super 7 Show
The final point show of 2021 is scheduled for September 3 with Double Points on the line in all divisions.
Outlaw Speedway will then lay dormant for three weeks before reopening for the Traditional Fall Nationals on Sept. 24 and 25. The Modifieds and 360 Sprints will both run qualifying events on Friday paying $4,000 to each, American Racer Tire Sportsman will run for a modest $1500 to win Street Stocks go off for $1,000 to win with the top two securing spots into Saturday’s finale. Hobby Stocks and 4 Cylinders will each race for $750 to win on Friday, rounding out the Friday night card will be the 600cc Modifieds and IMCA Modifieds.
Then on Saturday everyone will return for more feature action including the $4,000 to win Gun Slinger 50 for the Modifieds Hoosier Tire Sportsman will run for $1,500 with the 4 Cylinders, Hobby Stocks and 600cc Modifieds all go for $750. IMCA Modifieds and Street Stocks will also join the Saturday night action.
At the conclusion of the Fall Nationals the track will then shut down for another four weeks in preparation for the Annual Dutch Hoag Memorial
Friday and Saturday, October 22 and 23 will feature the full gamut including 360 Sprints, Modifieds, Crate Sportsman, Street Stocks, 4 Cylinders, Hobby Stocks, Street Stocks and IMCA Modifieds. Saturday, October 23 will then pull the curtain down on the 2021 Outlaw Speedway season.
It should be noted that gates open each race night at 5:30 pm hot laps to follow at 6:00 and the first green flag waving at 7:30 sharp.
A Super 7 Show consists of the Friendly Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Modifieds, The Sunrise Insulation American Racer Tire Sportsman along with the Stan’s No Tubes Street Stocks, The Lanes Yamaha 360 Sprints, the Hoosier Tire Sportsman, 4 Cylinder Mini Stocks along with the Hobby Stocks…
