Mohawk Valley Vintage Dirt Modified Series Releases ’21 Schedule; April 24th Opener At Fonda

Story By: LAURIE FALLIS / MOHAWK VALLEY VINTAGE DIRT MODIFIED SERIES – GLOVERSVILLE, NY – The Mohawk Valley Vintage Dirt Modified Series (MVVDMS) is ready to awake the past and bring back the memories of the days gone by for the great racing fans to enjoy. The series is ready for a fun and exciting new year which will be representing the many era’s of our dirt racing past.

We are thankful to all the great promoters for letting the series showcase it’s cars and stars that represents our racing hero’s that must never be forgotten.

The Series is excited to get the racing season to the drop of the 2021green flag. MVVDMS is ready to do it’s part in “Keeping The Memories Of The Past Alive” Vintage Style!

For the first time in the series history it will be traveling into three states.

Here is the 2021 Mohawk Valley Vintage Dirt Modified Series Schedule.

APRIL 24th…will start off the series season with the first stop at Fonda Speedway with the “Vintage Spring Fling Opener.” (MVVDMS Points)

MAY 8th…will once again see the series back to “The Track Of Champions” Fonda Speedway for the “Vintage Mother Load” the pre Mother’s Day Special. (MVVDMS Points)

MAY 21st…takes the series to the “Great Race Place” of Albany-Saratoga Speedway for the “Malta’s Vintage Frenzy.” (MVVDMS Points)

MAY 30th…Memorial Day Weekend will see the series visit the track where it’s roots began, Glen Ridge Motorsports Park for the “MVVDMS Grassroots Event.” (MVVDMS Points)

JUNE 12th…It’s back to Fonda Speedway for the “Mohawk Valley Mystique Rush.” (MVVDMS Points)

JUNE 26th…Its off to the1/2 mile track in the Capital District, Lebanon Valley Speedway for the “Vintage Eruption At The High Bank.” (Open Show)

JULY 3rd…We celebrate those inducted into the Fonda Speedway Hall Of Fame while celebrating our country’s Birthday with some spectacular Vintage Racing. (MVVDMS Points)

JULY 17th…Our first trip across state line into Vermont at the Devils Bowl Speedway for the Vintage “Flashback At The Bowl.”

JULY 25th…Takes us to the special facility of the Weedsport Speedway to be a part of the Super Dirt Car Series Hall Of Fame 100. (Open Show)

AUGUST 6th…The series travels back to the Albany-Saratoga Speedway to honor a great man of our sport, the “John Grady Memorial Nostalgia Night.” (MVVDMS Points)

AUGUST 14th…It’s the MVVDMS “Track Of Champions” Championship Night at the Fonda Speedway. (MVVDMS Points)

AUGUST 28th…It’s back to the Capital District of Lebanon Valley Speedway for the “Valley Of Speed Explosion.” (Open Show)

SEPTEMBER 25th…The series travels south of the NY state line into Pennsylvania at the Penn Can Speedway for the “King Of The Can.” (Open Show)

OCTOBER 9th…Takes us just off I88 to the Afton Motorsports Park for the “Afton Vintage Attraction.” This is Part of the Short Track Super Series (Open Show).

OCTOBER 23rd…2021 MVVDMS season finale will be held at the Southern Tier famed facility of the Five Mile Point Speedway for the Vintage “Fall Back Frenzy 2.” (Open Show)

The MVVDMS supports four Vintage Trophy Classes. Vintage Antique, Vintage Sportsman, Vintage Modified Replicas and Vintage Late Model at each event.
