USAC Sprint Car Series Returning To Big Diamond Speedway In 2021
Story By: KENNETH BRUCE / BIG DIAMOND SPEEDWAY – MINERSVILLE, PA – Mark your calendars for Friday night April 23rd as the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car Series makes a much-anticipated return to the Big Diamond Speedway.
After a nine year hiatus, 2021 will mark the return of the USAC AMSOIL traveling sprint car series to Big Diamond during the first leg of their annual “Eastern Storm” in 2021. The last time the series made an appearance at the speedway was back in June of 2012 with Chris Windom taking the checkered flag. Drivers such as Windom, Brady Bacon and “T-Mez” Thomas Meseraull are just a few of the many stars that will be on hand to see who can take the big win.
After a highly successful 2020 despite a pandemic that delayed the start of the season to June, Big Diamond Speedway owners and promoters Jake & Jasmine Smulley continue to raise the bar at their Schuylkill County dirt oval on Friday nights as they continue to bring the best possible racing to their speedway with the addition of this much anticipated event.
“We are looking forward to the return of the USAC 410 Wingless Sprint cars at Big Diamond in 2021,” said owner/promoter Jake Smulley. In the past, the races have always come down to the final few laps to determine a winner. The racing is always exciting when USAC comes to Big Diamond. It will be a great night for the racers and for the fans.”
The balance of the night’s program is yet to be determined but you can anticipate the track’s headlining class, the 358 Modifieds to be a part of the night giving the fans a night they can circle on their schedule as a cannot miss race to attend.
Stay tuned for more updates and schedule announcements as they released as the Smulley’s look to make 2021 a year to remember at the Big Diamond Speedway.
