Brock Zearfoss Rallies From 21st To Sixth In Bob Weikert Memorial Opener At Port Royal

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing represented their Central Pennsylvania fanbase well during the recent weekend, not only earning back-to-back top-ten finishes during action at Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway, respectively, but doing so against a stout contingent of All Star Circuit of Champions and World of Outlaws competitors.

Zearfoss, a two-time feature winner thus far in 2020 including one against the traveling All Stars, finished sixth during each of his top-ten appearances over the weekend, the first during Williams Grove Speedway’s Tommy Hinnershitz Classic on Friday, July 17; he started 11th on the grid.

One night later, the ‘Jonestown Jet’ finished sixth during Port Royal Speedway’s Bob Weikert Memorial opener, but this time doing so in dramatic fashion, ending the 30-lap campaign with a +15 in the advancement column. The top-ten appearance was Zearfoss’ 27th of the season, rallying in a big way after a B-Main victory.

Other recent results for Brock Zearfoss Racing include a 14th-place outing during Brad Doty Classic competition at Attica Raceway Park on Tuesday, July 14, as well as a 19th-place finish during the Bob Weikert Memorial finale on Sunday, July 19.

Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2020 campaign with three-straight World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series starts beginning with the Gettysburg Clash at Lincoln Speedway on Thursday, July 23, followed by the two-day Summer Nationals event at Williams Grove Speedway on July 24-25.
