Tim Buckwalter Drives To Victory In Bruce Rogers Memorial Money Maker At Grandview
Information By: ERNIE SAXTON / GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY – BECHTELSVILLE, NY – Rising star Tim Buckwalter was able to drive to victory in the season opening VP Race Fuels Bruce Rogers Memorial Money Maker, featuring Big Blocks and Small Blocks, Saturday night at Grandview Speedway.
The win earned Buckwalter $7,500. Multi-time Grandview Modified champion Craig Von Dohren came home second followed by Ryan Watt, Jared Umbenhauer and Jeff Strunk.
Finishing sixth was Rick Laubach chased across the finish line by Duane Howard, Billy Pauch Jr., Mike Gular and Doug Manmiller.
Each racer qualifying for the Rogers Memorial earned at least $1,000.
Brian Hirthler earned the win in the 25-lap T.P.Truck Equipment Sportsman feature. Second spot went to Brandon Edgar followed by Kyle Lilick, Brad Arnold and Jesse Landis.
