Rico Abreu Grabs 15th Place Run During World Of Outlaws Visit At Lake Ozark

HELENA, CA – Despite kicking-off the weekend at Lake Ozark Speedway with a missed attempt to qualify for World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series A-Main competition, St. Helena, California’s Rico Abreu rebounded in a big way on Saturday, May 30, and drove himself to a 15th-place finish, climbing ahead from 21st on the grid after winning the evening’s Last Chance Showdown.

There were 36 cars that made the call for the World of Outlaws doubleheader at Lake Ozark Speedway.

Abreu has been in action with the Greatest Show On Dirt on five occasions thus far in 2020.

“We struggled some on Friday, but we were able to put some things together on Saturday that worked out better for us,” Rico Abreu said, driver of the Rico Abreu/Curb Agajanian Racing/Abreu Vineyards/Curb Records/Lucas Oil Products/Priority Aviation/Self Made Racing/Salty’s BBQ/Dancer Logistics/ShopRico.com/No. 24 sprint car. “It’s been a tough year for us so far, but things will get better. It just takes time and laps. That’s what we need right now is laps. I’m excited to keep this year going and get more and more starts.”
