Glen Ridge Motorsports Park Season Opener Set For Sunday, June 14th

Story By: BUTCH HAZZARD / GLEN RIDGE MOTORSPORTS PARK – FULTONVILLE, NY – The long awaited 2020 season opener is upon us, and the lid gets blown off on Sunday night June 14th!

Straight out of a Thin Lizzy song, we scream loudly, ‘THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN!’

The Red Chair DIRTcar Racing 602 Crate Modifieds, Limited Sportsman, Yurkewecz Auto Crusher DIRTcar Racing Pro-Stocks, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, Northeast Paving and Sealcoating All-Star Slingshots, and the Northeast Paving and Sealcoating JR Slingshots get their long-awaited season underway!

The only unfortunate part of the season opener is the fact that due to NYS guidelines; no spectators are allowed. CDC Health Guidelines will be in effect, face masks or face coverings must always be worn, and social distancing is required. Let’s all do our part so we can see our great fans sooner than later!

Our concession trailer will be open with a limited menu.

Pit Gates Open @ 3:00 pm, Hot Laps @ 5:30 pm and racing is set to kick off at 6:00 pm!

There will be no PPV option, but you can check into Race Monitor for live timing & scoring, and we are hoping to be able to update heat race winners etc on our Facebook page throughout the night if time allows.
