Woodhull Raceway Welcomes Back Rush Crate Late Model Division Sponsor For 2020

Story By: STEVEN OVENS / WOODHULL RACEWAY – WOODHULL, NY – RUSH-sanctioned Crate Late Models return again for the 2020 season at Woodhull Raceway with the support of Cummings Trucking out of Wellsville, NY. Woodhull’s Crate Lates will once again fall under the sanctioning body and rulebook of the RUSH Dirt Crate Late Model Tour.

Cummings Trucking has been a sponsor at Woodhull for several years as a sponsor of cars on the track, special awards at major events and now are returning as division sponsor for the second consecutive year.

The Crate Late Models will be running weekly with the season opener on April 18 with a 30 lap event paying $1,000-to-win courtesy of Close Racing Supply. Later in the season the Crate Late Models go head to head in the ‘King of the Ring’ event June 13.

Located in Wellsville, New York, Dennis Cummings has been in the trucking business for 30 years with his company, Cummings Trucking. It’s a small business but they haul just about everything that you need moved from here to there. You hear the term “keeping America moving” and Cummings Trucking is a big part of that locally.

Open Practice sessions are slated for Saturday April 4 and 11, with Opening Night scheduled for Saturday April 18 and the Modified Kickoff event on April 25.
