Brett Michalski Continuing To Build Momentum In PA Posse Country

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BRETT MICHALSKI MOTORSPORTS – PENNDEL, PA – It was a busy weekend in the Keystone State for Penndel, Pennsylvania’s Brett Michalski.

The former Lincoln Speedway feature winner and Rookie of the Year made his return to the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, March 14, soon followed by a stop at the ‘paperclip,’ Williams Grove Speedway, for its season opener on Sunday, March 15.

Back-to-back starts resulted in back-to-back heat race victories for the driver of the Brett Michalski Motorsports/JR Michalski Heating & Air Conditioning/Irish Rover Station House/York by Johnson Controls/Wood Services/Richboro Pub/Maxim Chassis/Don Ott Racing Engines/Kriner Engines/Penske Shocks/VP Racing Fuels/Hoosier Tire/Wings Unlimited/Racer’s Used and New Parts Warehouse/CR Graphix/SC Signs/Pyrotect/Hinchman Indy/No. 73B sprint car, eventually concluding his feature runs with 15th and 18th-place finishes, respectively. Michalski’s heat race triumphs allowed for a fourth-place start at Lincoln and a fifth-place start at Williams Grove.

Despite Michalski’s end-results falling short of personal goals and expectation, the ‘Penndel Pistol’ was pleased with his team’s overall performance and is already looking forward to making his returns next weekend.

“We were able to put together a lot of speed over the weekend, but a few mistakes put us behind in the features. We know our potential and this weekend reminded us of that,” Michalski said, who will mold much of his focus around Lincoln Speedway’s 2020 schedule. “Regardless, I’m proud of this team and I’m proud of what we were able to accomplish. We’ll do what we can to put ourselves up front next weekend.”

Despite coronavirus concerns looming, Brett Michalski and Brett Michalski Motorsports plan to enter action at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway, respectively, during the coming weekend.
