Trevor Baker Set To Focus On 30-Race Agenda During The 2020 Racing Season
Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / T-REV PERFORMANCE – SHREVE, OH – With much of his focus molded so close to his work commitments, Shreve, Ohio’s Trevor Baker has decided to take a slight step back in 2020 and build a schedule unlike years prior, as only 30 events made the cut for Baker’s upcoming agenda, many of which high-profile and within the Buckeye State.
Baker, pilot of the familiar T-Rev Performance/Baker’s Mobile Home Transport/No. 45 sprint car, will kick start his season with the Attica Raceway Park opener on Friday, March 20. From there, the recent Sharon Speedway feature winner will spend his weekends bouncing back and forth between events at Attica, Wayne County Speedway, Atomic Speedway, and Sharon Speedway.
With not only local starts in mind, Baker will also join the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and All Star Circuit of Champions during their visits to Ohio.
In addition, Baker plans to join the World of Outlaws during each of their visits to Eldora Speedway in 2020, as well as follow the All Star Circuit of Champions to each Ohio Sprint Speedweek stop, if work permits.
“We’ve been very busy at work and it’s hard for me to not focus on that. I want to race, but keeping up with my job and keeping that the first priority will never change,” Trevor Baker explained. “We still have a lot of races on our plate. As of right now, 30 stand out, although we haven’t really written them all out yet. We know where we want to spend the most of our time, but I’m sure we’ll be bouncing around. I’m excited to get started.”
Baker will enter 2020 with a heavy dose of positive momentum, recently earning the Apple Festival Nationals victory at Sharon Speedway on September 21.
“It wasn’t our last race of the year, but to get a win that late in the season really helped keep us motivated all winter,” Baker said of his Sharon Speedway victory. “We love racing at Sharon Speedway and I’m sure we’ll be there whenever possible this year.”
