Syracuse Motorsports Expo Reading For 34th Annual Extravaganza

Story By: JEREMIE CORCORAN / SYRACUSE MOTORSPORTS EXPO – SYRACUSE, NY – It’s time for the 34th Annual Syracuse Motorsports Exposition and Trade Show once again will be held at the Center of Progress Building located on the New York State Fairgrounds. March 14 & 15 are the dates where over 100 cars, dozens of tracks, organizations and so much more will be showcasing their product for the 2020 racing season.

On display will be dirt and asphalt modifieds, sprint cars, sportsman, micro sprints, pro stocks, go-carts, dragsters and so much more. Local dirt and asphalt tracks were also well represented and fans can expect to pick up the latest schedules, merchandise or just rub elbows and chat.

“The Syracuse Expo is a fun show where everyone is upbeat and ready to get the season started. It always feels like the official start to racing season here in upstate NY,” said Corcoran on the long running show, “I can’t thank everyone enough for making it a tremendous event. From the race tracks, sanctioning bodies to the cars, sponsors and especially the fans. We try to make each year more special and fun.”

Ferris Mowers, FX Caprara and VP Racing Fuels are back as major sponsors of the show and once again Super Gen Products/Champion Power Equipment will provide a generator to the best appearing car of the show.

The Syracuse Motorsports Expo started in 1986 at the Onondaga County War Memorial, moved to the New York State Fairgrounds shortly after and now has grown to be the largest Motorsports Exposition in New York.

Set up will be all day Friday with the show scheduled to be open on Saturday from 10AM – 8PM and on Sunday from 11AM-4PM. Admission prices are the same with Adults $13, Kids 6-12 $5 with 5 and under FREE. We will also have a special weekend Adult price of $20.

The Center of Progress Building is the site, March 14th & 15th are the dates, it’s 34 consecutive years of entertainment. The Syracuse Motorsports Expo, come and be part of the excitement.
