RPW Column: Danny Creeden To Race Select 358-Mod Races For Sedita 1 Motorsports In ’20
RPW Column By: MIKE TRAVERSE / RPW – FLORIDA, NY – Dan Creeden and Sedita 1 Motorsports are teaming up to race in selected 358 Modified races around the circuit for the 2020 season.
“Danny will be driving the Sedita 1 HigFab car at a number of tracks and events this season,” said car owner Rob Sedita. “We have plans to race some at Middletown, Bridgeport, Brett Hearn’s Big Show, Oswego and Eastern States Weekend.”
Rob is very confident given Danny’s past success driving HigFab cars.
“Danny and I have gotten to be really great friends the past 3 years that I’ve been a sponsor on the 16X,” Sedita said. “His results racing a HigFab measure up as well as anyone and I’m looking forward to having him drive our car this year.”
Sponsors on the Sedita 1 car are Chopper Russo RE/MAX Real Estate Group (Oakland, NJ), Behrent’s Performance Warehouse, RGH Construction, Elliott’s Auto Service, Rob’s Landscaping, Fox Shocks, VP Racing Fuel, Bedell Racing Engines, Lenny Dickinson Designs and Hig Fabrications.
“I just want to shout out a huge thank you to Jerry Higbie and all the folks at HigFab for all the hard work in getting us prepared for the 2020 season,” Sedita said.
Crew members for the team are Brett Hamilton, Tania Creeden, Jenny Sedita, Milty, Danny’s Uncle Rob, Jim Sheehan and the rest of the Creeden family.
Rob and Jenny’s team have fielded cars for many years, first in the street stocks and more recently in Sportsman. They are taking the next step up with their 358 car in 2020. With a top caliber driver like Dan Creeden wheeling their car this year, their chances of success look to be excellent. Hopefully, these good people will enjoy all that the season has in store for them.
