Microstock Championship Tour To Have Live Coverage On National Racing Network In 2020

Story By: CHRIS GRAHAM / MICROSTOCK CHAMPIONSHIP TOUR – WARMINSTER, PA – Officials with the Amsoil Microstock Championship Tour and the National Racing Network announced today that NRN will provide live coverage of six races during the 2020 season, with more potentially added to the program.

With a full schedule of 12 races across the Northeast US, the future of touring microstocks is alive and well. Series spokesman Tom Arntz said, “This is a big opportunity to expand the awareness of a great division of affordable local racing. The coverage of these events will be a very big help in that area.”

All races for the Tour will run on weekends, with opening night scheduled for April 25th at the Shellhammer Dirt Track. NRN coverage picks up with Round Two on May 17 at the Oreville Kart Club. Saturday night, June 13, the series moves to the Mahonig Valley Speedway. June 26th will have the second NRN broadcast originating from Snydersville Raceway. Round five will take place at Bethel Motor Speedway on July 12. The series wraps up the mid-summer swing on July 25 at the Oreville Kart Club’s Road Course. August kicks off it’s first full weekend with the micro-stocks invading Mahonig Valley for a second time. August 28 has another NRN broadcast on tap, with a return to Snydersville. The first of two September rounds takes place at Greenwood Valley Action Tracks on the 12th, followed by an NRN broadcast from Shellhammer Dirt Track. Rounding out the final three race broadcasts on NRN will be two races from Oreville and Snydersville on October 11 and 23 respectively.

NRN Executive Producer Chris Graham said, “We are beyond excited to have the opportunity to showcase the Microstocks to our loyal and devoted fan base. As the home of small car racing in the internet broadcast space, there is no better place to get your fix of exciting racing than NRN.” Negotiations are under way for additional series events to be broadcast on the NRN platforms as well. Graham added, “Our platform is trusted by tracks and series alike, and with nearly nightly live content for 2020, there is no better bang for your advertising dollar than with the NRN family of properties.”
