Doug Hendricks To Move Up To 358-Modified Class At Big Diamond For 2020 Season
Information By: BRAD KEITSOCK – ORWIGSBURG, PA – Local racing standout from Orwigsburg Pa. Doug Hendricks will be making the move up to the ultra-competitive 358 Modified headline division at the Big Diamond Speedway for the 2020 racing season.
This comes after a highly-successful career in the speedway’s Sportsman Modified division, earning 3 career championships in that division.
Once the gates swing open next April for another season of racing look for Hendricks to be behind the wheel of the familiar Nunemacher Racing #80 that Hendricks has had tremendous success with over the years in the sportsman modified division.
The Nunemacher/Hendricks combination will use a Bicknell chassis with Morgantini power to do battle in the weekly Friday night 358 Modified racing wars at the Big Diamond Speedway.
The Hendricks name has a long and prestigious history at Big Diamond Speedway dating way back to the beginnings of the speedway, as multiple Hendricks family member have raced for many years and put their names in the speedway’s history books.
Doug Hendricks has raced his way up through all the racing divisions at Big Diamond Speedway over his racing career and he’s visited victory lane many times in all of them, but ONE, and Hendricks and his team plan on changing that by parking that Nunemacher Racing #80 in victory lane one Friday night next season by getting that career first 358 Modified win at Big Diamond Speedway.
Hendricks has the talent, the equipment and the experience at Big Diamond Speedway, if I were a betting man, I’d make that bet you’ll see the #80 gang celebrating in victory lane at some point during the 2020 racing season. Wishing them nothing but the best.
