Racing Cancelled For Friday, May 17th At Brewerton Speedway

Story By: DAVE MEDLER / BREWERTON SPEEDWAY – BREWERTON, NY – With the continuing pattern of wet weather and no adequate periods of drying time we didn’t want to have a bad experience for everyone involved, so we have canceled the Friday, May 17 racing program.

We are focusing all our efforts to next Friday’s big opener.

Friday, May 24 major marketing partner McDonald’s ® Restaurants present a big Memorial Day Weekend Racing Spectacular featuring the grandstand shaking Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints 17th Annual Don Gillette Memorial.

Also battling on the ‘D-Shaped Dirt Demon’ will be the ground pounding Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds, Dot Foods DIRTcar Sportsman and the Fleet Repair Truck & Trailer Repair 4-Cylinders. The U.S Air Force Mod Lites will have the night off.

Grandstand admission is $22 with everyone 18 years old and younger free. Pit admission is $35. Gates will open at 5:30 pm with racing at 7:30 pm.

This Saturday, May 18 at the Fulton Speedway it’s Racing & Demo Derby Night presented by Scott Jeffery’s Performance Plus.

Racing on the ‘Highbanks’ will be the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds, DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux RUSH Late Models and the E&V Energy Novice Sportsman.

After the side-by-side racing it will be time for the sights and sounds of smoke and crunching metal of the Kings Smash ‘Em Crash ‘Em Demolition Derby. Up close action on the front straightaway will see the $1,000-to-win 4&6 Cylinder Chain and Bang plus the $750-to-win Small Truck & Mini-Van Junk Run.

Adult grandstand admission is $15 with everyone 18 years old and younger, free. Pit admission is $27 Participant and $30 Non-Participant. Gates will open at 5:00 pm with racing starting at 7:00 pm.
