Brock Zearfoss Looks Ahead To Four Sprint Car Events In Six Days
Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / PREMIER MOTORSPORTS – JONESTOWN, PA – Despite a tough outing in Central Pennsylvania, highlighting three World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series appearances with one main event start, Jonestown, Pennsylvania’s Brock Zearfoss and Pete Grove’s Premier Motorsports are already looking ahead, planning for an intense week of competition that will include four events in six days, three of which against the All Star Circuit of Champions.
Zearfoss, pilot of the Premier Motorsports/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Meckley’s Limestone Products/Berkebile Oil Company/No. 70 sprint car, will kick off his long week with World of Outlaws competition at Bridgeport Speedway in Bridgeport, N.J., on Tuesday, May 21. The four-race stretch will continue on Friday through Sunday, May 24-26, with a Memorial Day weekend trio in the Buckeye State, each sanctioned by the All Star Circuit of Champions. Zearfoss and ‘America’s Series’ will visit Attica Raceway Park, Wayne County Speedway and Fremont Speedway, respectively, during the extended holiday weekend.
Interesting note, Mother Nature has ruined much of the All Star Circuit of Champions schedule thus far in 2019, as poor weather is responsible for ten consecutive All Star postponements and/or cancellations.
“We are well overdue for an All Star race. It has been over a month,” Brock Zearfoss expressed, who is a full-time All Star traveler in 2019. “Hopefully Mother Nature will play nice this weekend and give us three great nights of racing. I’m definitely excited for the opportunity. We didn’t have results we wanted this weekend with the World of Outlaws, but we’ll shake those off and move forward. That’s all you can do. We have a long season ahead of us. My team will bounce back in no time. They are a great group and I certainly wouldn’t be where I am without them.”
During his recent stretch of World of Outlaws competition, the result of a full weekend cancellation in Wisconsin where the All Stars were scheduled to visit, Brock Zearfoss joined the Greatest Show On Dirt during appearances at Lincoln Speedway on May 15, as well as at Williams Grove Speedway on May 17 & 18. The former World of Outlaws winner at Williams Grove Speedway highlighted the the three-race stretch with a main event start during Williams Grove Speedway’s Morgan Cup finale on Saturday, May 18; Zearfoss was scored 26th.
