Lance Dewease Goes Two-Out-Of-Three With $6,900 Win At Lincoln Speedway

Story By: ALYSSA SHARMAN / KREITZ RACING – SINKING SPRINGS, PA – Lance Dewease picked up his second win of the season on Saturday in only three starts.

Kreitz Racing season debut at Williams Grove at few weeks ago ended prematurely with a DNF, but since then the team has recorded back to back wins – both of which had a post-race inspection.

Last week, during All Star Sprint Car action, the 69K made a late race pass to pick up the $6,000 check for Dewease’s 111th career Port Royal win.

Dewease started the night off at Lincoln by laying down a 2nd quick lap time in time trials, followed by a strong 3rd place heat finish. His time trial lap was good enough to put him in the redraw for the main event.

Come feature time, Dewease started in the 4th position and was in the lead by lap 8.

“Our car has been really maneuverable this year,” said Dewease.

“We’ve had Hess Iron step up this year as a primary partner and they’ve really helped our program”.

The team is off this weekend, but will return to BAPS Motor Speedway on May 5th.
