RPW Exclusive: Devil’s Bowl Speedway Announces Sportsman Weekly Pay Increase

Column By: ROBERT SYMONDS / RPW – WEST HAVEN, VT – Just under 2 weeks after Devil’s Bowl Speedway announced that Pepsi would be sponsoring the Sportsman Modified class in 2019, the class will also be receiving a pay increase.

On Monday night Mike Bruno, Owner and Promoter of the Devil’s Bowl Speedway, took to social media to announce that on a weekly show the Sportsman Modifieds would be racing for $1,200 to win. This is an increase to support an already full field car counts seen at the Vermont speedway.

Big news for the sportsman drivers like Josh Sunn who had collected 2 wins last season, Joey Scarborough who won 4, and Tim LaDuc with 2. Those few tried to hold their own over Kenny Tremont Jr who ended up winning the Points Championship with 3 wins. With the 2019 Season fast approaching, Devil’s Bowl seems to be the perfect place to be on Sunday nights.
