Brett Michalski Finishes 17th In Williams Grove Opener Sunday

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BRETT MICHALSKI MOTORSPORTS – PENNDEL, PA – Despite a frustrating weekend in Central Pennsylvania, highlighting his two-race sweep with a 17th place finish during the Williams Grove Speedway season opener on Sunday, March 17, Penndel, Pennsylvania’s Brett Michalski still found some light in his two days in Posse Country and is already looking forward to revisiting The Grove and Lincoln on Friday and Saturday, March 22 & 23.

“You have to take the bad with the good and move forward. I’m just happy to be racing in Central Pennsylvania,” Bret Michalski explained, the 2018 Lincoln Speedway Rookie of the Year. “We still have a lot to learn, but we are learning quickly. We are fortunate enough to be surrounded by a lot of great people who help us out. They like to see us improve and we certainly appreciate their input. We’ll work for better results this weekend.”

Although Michalski missed main event action on Saturday afternoon at Lincoln Speedway, finishing just shy of a transfer position during the sprint car consolation event, the second-year sprint car competitor still has a lot to show for in the Pigeon Hills, as Michalski finished tenth during the season-opening Icebreaker one week prior.
