CRSA Sprints To Run At Glen Ridge Motorsports Park Twice In 2019
Story By: GLEN RIDGE MOTORSPORTS PARK – FULTONVILLE, NY – Officials with the Glen Ridge Motorsports Park and the CRSA Sprint Car Series have put together a deal to bring the locally-originated sprint car club back to the Ridge for two shows in 2019!
“We wanted to keep bringing in some different things in 2019”, co-promoter Butch Hazzard said, “Ray (Sefrin) knows that I love sprint cars, and the Ridge is the perfect place for these cars. He said, ‘go for it’, so I did”
Originally the plan was for the club to take to the track at the end of the July as part of a Fonda Speedway/Glen Ridge combo weekend, but things changed a bit.
“I met Mike Emhof during the fall at Thunder Mountain, and we were impressed with the professionalism and the car counts, so we wanted to have them, then while we were finalizing the July race, he mentioned the June date and we jumped on it.”
The first of the two shows will be on Sunday June 2, 2019, and the final appearance for the club will be on July 28, 2019.
Haslun Returns to The Ridge In 2019
In order to keep up with the Jones’, we needed to keep our Haslun at #TheRidge! In today’s society, the likes of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are a very vital piece to an advertising and promoting puzzle for many and most businesses.
Dan Haslun has signed on to take on our new social media adventure by becoming our on-air personality on race days. Haslun will be roaming the pit area getting interviews and doing some fun things to be highlighted on our Glen Ridge social media outlets. Giving us views from the backstretch VIP Lounge or watching Timing & Scoring in action during race times. We will also be going Facebook LIVE for some question and answers sessions with drivers and fans!
We are very excited that Dan has taken on this new role for us. He is such a well-liked, hard working young man with a great passion for the sport of dirt track racing, and we know he is going to rock this project. Please help us in welcoming Dan ‘THE MAN’ Haslun back to the Ridge in 2019!
