RUSH To Participate In Northeast Racing Products Show In Syracuse This Weekend

Story By: MIKE LEONE / RUSH RACING SERIES – SYRACUSE, NY – The Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Racing Series powered by Pace Performance will once again be participating in the annual Northeast Racing Products Show at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY November 16-17.

In addition, Jeremy Wonderling, the 2018 Sweeney Late Model Touring Series Champion, will have his car on display in the RUSH booth.

RUSH will have its largest presence ever at the show and will be debuting a new booth featuring racers from all Series divisions. Literature will be available on the wildly-successful RUSH Sprint Car division that debuted this past season, as well as the other RUSH divisions. This will mark the second straight year RUSH will have a Late Model as part of its booth. Wonderling clinched the title just four weeks ago and thanks to Close Racing Supply, as well as Jeremy and his crew, the championship car is show ready.

“We always look forward to participating in this show,” stated RUSH Director Vicki Emig. “It’s great that event promoter Jeremie Corcoran resurrected the former National Parts Peddler Show and has quickly built this Show back to prominence. Over the years, this show has certainly played a big part in helping us to establish the RUSH Late Models throughout New York and Canada as well as helping to attract and solidify national marketing partners. It’s always great to see so many familiar faces and new ones as well each year. We have to thank Jeremy Wonderling and Joel Smith from Close Racing Supply for going above and beyond to have Jeremy’s car part of our booth.”

“Jeremy (Wonderling) is an old school second generation racer that works hard on his equipment,” said Joel Smith of Close Racing Supply. “One thing I like about him is he’s focused on his program and doesn’t pay attention to what others do. He was able to win this championship in a different car brand than what most prefer in our part of the country- just like the previous two champions did as well. Jeremy raced most of the season, as he has all of his RUSH Late Model career, in a GRT Race Car and towards end of season added a Longhorn Chassis to his stable. Jeremy is a perfect example of what hard work and determination can get you. CRS is proud of his accomplishments and glad to have him as a customer.”

RUSH encourages racers, promoters, and fans to stop by their booth this weekend. Hours for the NRP Show are 1-9 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
