Coar/Clark Racing Will Not Field A Big Block Modified In 2019; Gary Tomkins Looking For A Ride
Information By: GARY TOMKINS RACING – CLIFTON SPRINGS, NY – Well, it looks like another domino has fallen in the world of Modified racing. Looks like Gary Tomkins is out of a ride for Friday nights at Brewerton Speedway.
Tomkins announced Friday that the team he drove for, owned by Tom Coar and Chris Clark, will not be in competition for 2019. The veteran campaigner finished seventh in points at the D-Shaped Dirt Demon this past season with four top 5’s and eight top 10 finishes.

The Coar/Clark race team has decided not to run their big block program in 2019. I want to thank Tom, Chris, Terry(Maude), Cindy, the sponsors and crew for having me drive for them. They are a great group of people and I appreciate their efforts to field a competitive team!
