Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Drivers Ready For Midwest Tripleheader

Story By: JEREMY SHIELDS / LUCAS OIL LATE MODEL DIRT SERIES – BATAVIA, OH – In the week ahead, the warriors of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will tackle three states in three days, with three action-packed events along the way.

141 Speedway in Maribel, WI will host the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for the first time on Friday, May 18. The event will feature a complete program of: Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and a 50-lap, $12,000-to-win main event. The Street Stocks and Sport Modifieds will serve as support divisions on Friday, May 18.

The action will shift to Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN on Saturday, May 19. After falling to Mother Nature in 2017, the stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series anxiously await their invasion of the 3/8-mile oval, which has a long history of producing some of the nation’s most exciting events.

The NAPA Auto Parts North Star Nationals includes a complete program of: Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, and B-Mains – highlighted by a 50-lap, $12,000-to-win main event. The Open Wheel Modifieds will also be competing Saturday night for $2,000-to-win.

I-80 Speedway will close out a thrilling weekend of racing action. The nation’s elite dirt late model teams will tackle the high banks of the Greenwood, NE oval during the annual running of the Go 50. A complete show is on tap, which includes: Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and a 50-lap, $10,000-to-win main event. The Open Wheel Modifieds will also be in competition, battling for $2,000-to-win.
