Active Duty & Veterans Night Set For This Friday At Outlaw Speedway
Story By: KENNY SHUPP / OUTLAW SPEEDWAY – DUNDEE, NY – The Lucas Oil sponsored Empire Super Sprints will make their second appearance of the 2018 campaign at the Outlaw Speedway in Dundee, NY on Friday, May 18, 2018.
Defending series champ; Jason Barney made short work of the season opener for the Lucas Oil ESS 360 touring group at Outlaw Speedway on April 21 during the 3rd Annual Spring Nationals as he picked up his first feature event of the year in the green to checkered 25 lap A Main.
Barney and a who’s who list of top 360 Sprint competitors will return to the fast 4/10 of a mile clay oval as part of a Super 6 Show on Active Duty and Veterans Night at the popular Yates County oval.
Also on the card for the night it will be the Friendly CDJR Modifieds, the Crate Sportsman, the classy looking Street Stocks along with the Decker Farmers Insurance sponsored IMCA Modifieds and Hobby Stocks. The 4 cylinders and the Doug Gross Construction Crate Late Models round out the event.
The Winners Circle Deli Bandit Division will have the night off.
Track owner, Tyler Siri and his staff will welcome in at a discount price any and all men and women who are in active military duty as well as veterans of any military branch simply by showing the proper identification when entering the main entrance gates.
Pit gates for the May 18 show open at 3:30 pm, main grandstands at 5:00 with hot laps scheduled to go off at 6:00. The first green flag of the evening will wave promptly at 7:00.
