Empire Super Sprints Secures Sponsor For 2018 Quebec Series
Story By: DEAN REYNOLDS / EMPIRE SUPER SPRINTS – SYRACUSE, NY – As the 2018 campaign for the 35th Anniversary Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) nears, we like to welcome back Fondations 4 Saisons from Ste-Julie, Quebec. The Poirier Family have been big supporters of ESS for many years and producing a nice point fund for the four events in Quebec awaits.
Autodrome Granby will kick off the Quebec Series on June 1st followed by Autodrome Drummond on the 2nd. They second weekend to the French speaking province will be August 24th and 25th with the second visit to Granby and then to Le RPM on Saturday. All events will pay $2,000 to win with a whopping $500 just to start.
Last year, Steve Poirier just nipped Jason Barney but a mere five points to claim another Quebec Series title. Paulie Colagiovanni won his first ever ESS A-Main at Granby and took third in points followed by Alain Bergeron and Paul Kinney.
